Job Summary

APM Group is looking for a skilled and responsible Soldering Technician with hands-on experience in electronic component soldering, PCB soldering, wiring, and basic electronics assembly.

The candidate will be primarily responsible for soldering-related work and should also be willing to support production activities whenever required, including assembling

GPS/GSM/IoT devices, fitting components, wiring, testing, and packing finished devices.

The role requires positive hand skills, attention to detail, quality awareness, and the ability to work as part of the production team.

Key Responsibilities

Perform soldering and de-soldering of electronic components on PCBs.

Carry out through-hole and basic SMD component soldering.

Inspect solder joints and ensure proper solder quality.

Identify and correct dry solder, excess solder, short circuits, and poor connections.

Perform basic wiring, connector fitting, cable preparation, and component assembly.

Use soldering iron, hot air station, multimeter, and other basic electronic tools.

¢ Support GPS/GSM/IoT device production and assembly whenever required.

¢ Assemble GPS devices by fitting PCB, enclosure, wires, connectors, antenna, and related parts.

¢ Assist in device testing and basic functional checks after assembly.

¢ Follow production instructions, work procedures, and quality standards.

¢ Maintain proper handling of PCBs, electronic components, tools, and materials.

¢ Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the work area.

¢ Support rework and repair activities when required.

¢ Coordinate with Production, Quality, R&D;, Stores, and Testing teams.





¢ Complete assigned production targets within the required timeline.

¢ Support packing and final preparation of finished devices when required.

Required Skills

Key Skills

¢ Good knowledge of soldering and de-soldering techniques.

¢ Hands-on experience in PCB soldering.

¢ Ability to identify basic electronic components.

¢ Basic understanding of electronics and electrical connections.

¢ Good Experience using soldering iron and soldering station.

¢ Ability to use a multimeter for basic checking.

¢ Knowledge of wiring, connectors, cables, and PCB assembly.

¢ Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

¢ Ability to identify soldering defects.

¢ Basic knowledge of ESD and safe handling of electronic components.

¢ Ability to follow production instructions and quality standards.

¢ Willingness to perform production and assembly work in addition to soldering.

Educational Qualification

¢ ITI / Diploma / Vocational Course in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, or related field preferred.

¢ Candidates with good practical soldering experience may also be considered.

¢ 1-3 years of relevant experience in soldering, electronics assembly, PCB assembly, or production preferred.
