About the Role This is not a conventional engineering role. You will take what you know about how solar plants are designed, built, and run, and turn it into working applications using AI tools like Claude. Youll speak with stakeholders, understand their real problems, and rapidly prototype solutions: dashboards, analysis tools, reporting workflows, and AI agents. You don’t need to be a software developer, but you must be comfortable learning new tools quickly and building things yourself.

What You’ll Do

- Work with clients and internal teams (EPCs, asset owners, O&M; managers, survey analysts) to understand their workflows, pain points, and decision-making needs.
- Translate those needs into clear problem statements, requirements, and solution designs.
- Rapidly build and iterate on applications and AI-assisted workflows using Claude and similar tools, from prototype to usable product.
- Apply your solar knowledge to make sure every tool reflects how the industry actually works: correct metrics, realistic assumptions, practical outputs.
- Connect drone and geospatial data (thermal inspections, progress surveys, defect detection) to business outcomes like generation loss, construction delays, and O&M; prioritisation.
- Contribute to RFP responses, client demos, and solution proposals.
- Keep track of the bigger picture,



spotting opportunities where a tool built for one client could serve many.

What We’re Looking For Must-have:

- 3–6 years of robust hands-on experience in utility-scale or C&I; PV solar, across at least two of: Engineering/Design, Construction/Project Execution, O&M;, Performance Analysis.
- Solid grasp of the PV value chain, with a working understanding of PR, CUF, yield losses, soiling, degradation, module/inverter faults, and construction milestones.
- The ability to step into a stakeholder’s shoes, asking the right questions and figuring out what they actually need versus what they say.
- Strong structured problem-solving: breaking messy problems into clear steps and testable solutions.
- Big-picture thinking, with the ability to quickly understand a new context and see how the pieces fit.
- Self-motivation and ownership. You start without being told and finish what you start.
- Clear written and verbal communication with both technical and business audiences.

Good to have:
- Hands-on use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to build something beyond basic chat, such as automations, analyses, small apps, or reports.
- Familiarity with Excel/Python/SQL, SCADA data, or monitoring platforms.
- Exposure to drone inspections, thermography, or GIS data.
- Experience with RFPs, client-facing proposals, or product/solution roles.
