Job Title: Software Tester / QA Tester

1. Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications and IT products. The candidate will be responsible for identifying defects, executing test cases, validating application functionality, and collaborating with developers and project managers to deliver high-quality software that meets business and user requirements.
1. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, technical specifications, and application workflows to understand testing needs.
- Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user interface testing.
- Identify, document, track, and report software defects using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not affected.
- Test web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and software products across supported devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, designers, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Validate application usability, accuracy, functionality, and compatibility against requirements.
- Maintain test documentation, defect reports, and daily testing progress updates.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and assist with release validation.




- Ensure testing activities are completed within project timelines and quality standards.

1. Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in software testing or quality assurance is preferred.

1. Technical Skills

- Manual testing and functional testing.
- Test case preparation and execution.
- Regression, integration, and system testing.
- Web and mobile application testing.
- Bug-tracking tools such as Jira or equivalent.
- Basic SQL and database validation.
- API testing using Postman is an advantage.
- Automation testing knowledge using Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools is an added advantage.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to identify defects and provide clear, reproducible bug reports.
- Effective coordination with development and project teams.
- Ability to manage multiple testing tasks and meet deadlines.

The ideal candidate should be systematic, quality-focused, and committed to delivering reliable software products. The candidate must be able to identify potential issues, communicate defects clearly, and work collaboratively with the development team to ensure a smooth and dependable user experience. Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
