Job Summary

Software Engineer II - QA (Automation). We are looking for a QA Automation engineer, who is proficient with testing RESTful APIs for AWS cloud applications. Your primary focus will be on developing sophisticated test suites for functional, and regression and performance testing.

You will coordinate with the SMEs and the developers to understand the functionality and test the same. You will be coordinating with the other QA team members for the design and infrastructure for all test suites. A commitment to deliver a quality product is of at most importance.

Responsibilities

- Test current products and identifying deficiencies

- Suggest solutions to identified product problems

- Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction

- Plan, create and manage the overall Quality Planning strategy

- Developing and implementing quality standards and quality control systems as needed for the product

- Collaborate with the Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution

- Identify quality assurance process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement

- Monitoring and analyzing quality performance of the product

- Identify key KPIs for product quality

- Prepare and present reports and metrics as needed for monitoring

Technical Skills Required

- 5+ years' experience with QA automation and Manual

- 3+ years' experience of testing RESTful APIs

- Knowledge on Cucumber based framework, writing feature file Gherkin language

- Playwright Automation or Selenium experience is a plus

- AWS Cloud Experience is a plus

- Strong analytical skills, with critical thinking capability and strong problem solving skills





- Expertise in both automation & manual testing

- Expertise in both Regression, Performance and Load Testing

- Establish appropriate projects in Jenkins that work in conjunction with automated build and deploy jobs and execute automated test scripts using Jenkins

- Coordination with multiple teams for End-End testing and UAT

- Attention to Detail

- Strong communication skills

- Expertise in developing test framework, test suites and scripting for cloud based applications

- Production Deployment Verification

- Strong experience in working with DevOps and Build pipelines

- Strong experience with development methodologies such as Agile or SCRUM

- Expertise in NoSQL databases like MongoDB, DynamoDB

- Demonstrate robust problem-solving ability and analytical skills

- Strong communication, presentation, and advisory skills

- Expertise in Java/Javascript for writing test suites

- Experience with Gitlab, Postman

- Experience with Jira, Zephyr scale is desirable

- Experience with JMeter for Performance/Load Testing

- Experience with testing POS and Credit card payment systems is a plus

Education & Experience

- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

- Knowledge on AWS tools is a plus

- Highly responsible, self-disciplined, self-managed, self-motivated, able to work with little or no supervision

- Passion to understand, learn, and dissect new technologies quickly on your own

- Extensive experience working on multiple projects at a time in a fast paced, results oriented environment
