Job Summary

Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Soft Skills Trainer to prepare students for campus placements and corporate recruitment processes. The candidate will deliver structured training in communication, interpersonal effectiveness, interview preparation, and professional etiquette to enhance students employability and workplace readiness.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct training sessions on verbal and written communication, business English, and professional communication.

- Train students in group discussions, personal interviews, HR interviews, and presentation skills.

- Develop students’ interpersonal skills, confidence, teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

- Deliver sessions on corporate etiquette, professional conduct, workplace behavior, and time management.

- Conduct mock interviews, group discussions, role-plays, and other practical placement-readiness activities.

- Assess students’ communication proficiency and identify areas for improvement through structured feedback.

- Prepare training materials, presentations, assessments, and practice exercises aligned with campus placement requirements.

- Coordinate with the Training and Placement Cell to align training programs with recruiter expectations.

- Monitor student participation,



training outcomes, and placement readiness.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Solid verbal and written communication skills in English.

- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and classroom management abilities.

- Proficiency in interview preparation, group discussion techniques, and personality development.

- Ability to engage students from diverse academic backgrounds.

- Solid interpersonal skills, patience, and a student-centric approach.

- Ability to evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Communication, Management, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.

- Relevant experience in soft skills training, corporate training, employability training, or higher education is preferred.

- Experience in campus placement training or working with a college/university Training and Placement Cell will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile A confident, engaging, and results-oriented trainer who can help students communicate effectively, perform confidently in recruitment assessments, and transition successfully from campus to corporate environments.
