Job Summary

Zero Thoughts Marketing is looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Manager & Content Creator to join our team. This role is ideal for freshers and candidates with up to one year of experience who are passionate about social media, content creation, digital marketing, and creative storytelling.

The candidate will help manage social media accounts for multiple clients, develop engaging content ideas, create content calendars, and coordinate with graphic designers and video editors to deliver quality content that aligns with client goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain social media accounts, primarily Instagram and Facebook.
- Plan and prepare monthly social media content calendars based on client requirements.
- Develop creative content ideas for reels, posters, carousels, stories, and promotional campaigns.
- Write engaging captions, headlines, hooks, and basic scripts for short-form videos.
- Research client industries, target audiences, competitors, and current social media trends.
- Coordinate with graphic designers, video editors, and content writers to execute planned content.
- Schedule and publish approved posts using Meta Business Suite or similar tools.
- Monitor basic social media performance, including reach, engagement, views, and follower growth.
- Support social media strategies aimed at brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.
- Communicate with the internal team to ensure content requirements and deadlines are met.
- Track client feedback, revisions, and content approval status.
- Stay updated on Instagram trends, platform features,



and emerging content formats.

Requirements & Qualifications
- 0–1 year of experience in social media management, content creation, or digital marketing.
- Freshers with relevant skills and a strong interest in social media are welcome to apply.
- Basic understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
- Good communication, creativity, and organizational skills.
- Ability to generate fresh content ideas and understand brand requirements.
- Basic knowledge of content calendars and social media scheduling.
- Good command of English; Malayalam proficiency is an added advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and improve continuously.

Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite.
- Basic knowledge of Canva or other creative tools.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, hooks, storytelling, and audience engagement.
- Basic knowledge of social media insights and performance reporting.
- Familiarity with AI tools for content research and idea generation.
- A portfolio, sample content calendar, or examples of previous social media work will be an advantage.
