Role Description The Sir Technician role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bharuch. The technician will install, inspect, maintain, and repair elevator systems and related components in line with company safety and quality standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing routine preventive maintenance, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, replacing faulty parts, and ensuring smooth and safe elevator operation for building users.

The role also involves documenting service activities, complying with safety procedures and regulatory requirements, and coordinating with supervisors, engineers, and customer representatives to plan work schedules and address service requests.



The technician is expected to respond to breakdowns or emergency calls, support testing and commissioning of new installations, and uphold Birla Elevators Limited’s commitment to reliable customer service.

Qualifications

- Strong technical skills in elevator installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, preferably in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including motors, control panels, wiring, safety circuits, and basic electronics.
- Understanding of safety standards, relevant codes, and regulatory requirements related to elevator operation and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, manuals, and maintenance documentation.
- Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills with attention to detail and a focus on safe, efficient work practices.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and clients at the worksite.
- Physical ability to work at heights, in shaft areas, and in confined spaces, and to handle tools and equipment safely.
- Relevant ITI/diploma or vocational qualification in electrical, mechanical, or related engineering trade; prior experience in elevator or lift industry is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work on-site in Bharuch, follow shift schedules, and respond to urgent maintenance or breakdown calls as needed.
