Role: Senior Shopify Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Developer with 6–7 years of hands-on experience in developing, customising, and maintaining Shopify and Shopify Plus e-commerce stores. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Shopify APIs, and custom theme development.

The candidate should be capable of building high-performance, responsive, and conversion-focused e-commerce websites, integrating third-party applications, and delivering seamless shopping experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, customise, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus stores.
- Build and modify Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Develop custom Shopify sections, templates, snippets, and reusable components.
- Customise existing themes and develop storefronts based on business requirements and UI/UX designs.
- Integrate third-party applications, payment gateways, shipping solutions, and marketing tools.
- Work with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and custom app integrations.
- Develop custom Shopify apps and functionalities where required.
- Optimise store performance, page load speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
- Implement product catalogues, collections, cart functionality, checkout customisations, and promotional features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to themes, apps, integrations, and store performance.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and a consistent user experience.




- Collaborate with designers, backend developers, QA engineers, and project managers.
- Maintain code quality, version control, and development documentation.
- Support store migrations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 6–7 years of professional experience in Shopify development and e-commerce website development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Shopify theme development and customisation.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0, JSON templates, and custom sections.
- Strong understanding of Shopify architecture, products, collections, variants, cart, and checkout workflows.
- Experience integrating Shopify apps, third-party services, and payment or shipping solutions.
- Knowledge of Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, REST APIs, and webhooks.
- Experience with Git and Shopify CLI.
- Understanding of e-commerce SEO, website performance optimisation, and conversion optimisation.
- Experience troubleshooting complex technical issues in live Shopify stores.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills




- Experience with Shopify Plus and enterprise-level e-commerce stores.
- Knowledge of React.js and TypeScript for headless Shopify storefronts.
- Experience with Hydrogen and Oxygen.
- Familiarity with Node.js and custom Shopify app development.
- Experience with headless commerce architecture and integrations.
- Knowledge of Klaviyo, CRM integrations, analytics, and marketing automation.
- Experience with Shopify migrations and large product catalogue management.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD workflows.

Educational Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹66,000.00 per month
