He/She will be primarily responsible for quality production & productivity, manpower planning, enhancement of productivity & team building.

1)Production/Operation:•Increase production volume & cost reduction•Achieving the targeted yields, losses & usage of raw material & utilities.•Maintaining required inventory.•Control of annual plant budgets.•Produce quality products by applying various techniques to achieve targeted production•Coordinate with quality control for day to day production

2)Maintenance:•Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdown





3)Implementation of TPM:•Green sheet wastage reduction.•Achieve the targets in line with organizational needs & produce quality product.•Identification of the plant improvement projects & getting approval & executing the same.•Ensure and maintain quality systems records for all process activities•Guide workers the aspects of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and ensure its implementation at shop floor

4)Workforce Management:•Discipline in the workforce•Selection, coaching , feedback & development of subordinates & plant personnel•Allocation of manpower keeping in mind the manpower budget.•Initiate small group activities & continuous improvements.•Train the workers for multi-tasking by job rotation & organize on the job training for newcomers•To train people on various aspects of the process.•To control FTR’s and avoid the accumulation of wastages
