Role Description The SEO Manager role at Talent Affair is a full-time, on-site position based in the Kolkata metropolitan area. The SEO Manager will oversee and implement data-driven SEO strategies, including conducting comprehensive site audits, optimizing on-page elements, and managing off-page initiatives.

Day-to-day responsibilities include performing keyword research, monitoring rankings and traffic, analyzing performance using web analytics tools, and preparing regular reports with actionable insights. The role also involves coordinating link-building campaigns, collaborating with marketing and content teams to align SEO with broader campaigns, and staying current with search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices. The SEO Manager will be expected to manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and continuously identify opportunities to improve organic visibility and user engagement.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess robust skills in SEO Audits and on-page optimization to diagnose issues and improve search performance.
- Candidates should possess proven experience in Keyword Research and search intent analysis to guide content and campaign planning.
- Candidates should possess effective Link Building and off-page SEO skills, including outreach and authority-building strategies.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console) to track, measure, and report SEO results.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Marketing principles, with the ability to integrate SEO into broader digital and brand strategies.
- 3–4 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or fast-paced digital environment.
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with attention to detail and the ability to present insights clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
