Key Responsibilities : Analyze BRD, FRD, user stories and functional requirements.

Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases and test data.

Execute Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Sanity and End-to-End testing.

Perform testing of Wealth Management System workflows and interfaces.

Log and track defects using JIRA / Azure DevOps / ALM or similar tools.

Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.

Validate frontend, backend and database transactions.

Perform SQL/database validation wherever required.

Validate APIs and integrations using tools such as Postman or SoapUI.

Maintain test execution evidence and testing documentation.

Participate in defect triage/discussion with developers, BAs and business teams.

Support SIT and UAT execution.

Provide daily testing progress and defect-status updates. The internal testing material similarly describes Test Engineer activities around test case design, execution, defect recording, retesting, maintaining test results, and daily reporting.

Mandatory Skills

3–6 years of Software Testing experience

Valuable experience in the Banking domain

Hands-on Wealth Management System (WMS) testing experience
