We are looking to hire a skilled IT support engineer to assist our clients with all IT related technical support issues. As an IT support engineer, you will meet with clients to determine the nature of the problem, diagnose hardware or software issues, provide effective assistance, and maintain strong customer relationships. You may also be required to install new software applications and train clients on proper application use.

To ensure success as an IT support engineer, you should have in-depth knowledge of business software and hardware systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. Ultimately,



a top-class IT support engineer resolves all IT issues quickly and effectively while maintaining a good relationship with the client.

Roles and responsibilities

· Provide technical assistance with computer hardware and software.

· Resolve issues for staff via phone, in person, or electronically.

· Perform hardware and software installations, configurations and updates as needed.

· Maintain the hardware and software licenses repository

· Manage and maintain the IT services in the office – like internet, cabling, firewall

· Resolving logged errors in a timely manner.

· Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics.

· Updating computer software. as well as upgrading hardware and systems.

· Maintaining databases and ensuring system security.

· Documenting processes and performing diagnostic tests.

· Keeping track of technological advancements and trends in IT support

What Lands You This Role

· 3-8 years of experience as an IT support specialist.

· Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries.

· In-depth knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.

· Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics.

· Advanced knowledge of database maintenance and system security.

· Experience in Procurement and Vendor Management.

· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

IT Support Engineer Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science.

· Certificate/Diploma in hardware and networking

· Laptop maintenance

· Proven work experience as a technical support engineer.

· Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems.

· Good time management skills.

· Good interpersonal skills.

· Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.

· Ability to think critically.
