Job Summary An SAP TM Consultant is responsible for designing configuring implementing and supporting SAP Transportation Management solutions to optimize transportation planning freight management logistics execution carrier collaboration and freight settlement processes The consultant works closely with business stakeholders logistics teams and technical teams to deliver endtoend transportation solutions within SAP S4HANA or ECC landscapes
Key Responsibilities
Functional Analysis Solution Design
Gather and analyze transportation and logistics business requirements
Conduct workshops fitgap analysis and solution design sessions
Translate business requirements into SAP TM solutions
Design transportation planning and execution processes
SAP TM Configuration
Configure oTransportation Planning oFreight Unit Building oFreight Order Management oCarrier Selection Tendering oTransportation Execution oCharge Calculation oFreight Settlement oShipment Tracking Monitoring
Maintain transportation master data and business rules
Integration Management
Integrate SAP TM with oSAP SD oSAP MM oSAP EWM oSAP LE oSAP GTS oSAP Business Network for Logistics BN4L
Support EDIAPI and thirdparty logistics integrations
Project Delivery
Participate in endtoend implementation projects
Prepare functional specifications for custom developments
Support SIT UAT regression testing cutover and golive activities
Provide hypercare and postproduction support
Support Optimization
Troubleshoot transportation and freight management issues
Identify process improvements and optimization opportunities
Support change requests and enhancements
Monitor system performance and recommend best practices
