Job Descriptions: We are looking for an experienced AWS Solutions Architect – Delivery to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end technical delivery of cloud solutions on AWS — from

initial on-premises infrastructure assessment and discovery through to architecture design, migration execution, and post-migration optimization. You will work closely with enterprise customers to evaluate their existing data center

environments, build business cases, and deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assessment & Discovery

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of customer on-premises datacenter environments including compute, storage, networking, and application dependencies
- Perform infrastructure discovery using agentless and agent-based tools to collect configuration data, performance metrics, and network dependency mappings
- Analyze existing workloads to determine cloud readiness, migration complexity, and optimal migration strategies (re-host, re-platform, re-factor, re-architect)
- Develop directional business cases including TCO analysis, projected cloud costs, right-sizing recommendations, and ROI projections
- Assess application interdependencies, data flows, and integration patterns to define migration wave planning
- Evaluate existing licensing models and recommend optimization strategies (BYOL, License Included, etc.)
- Document current-state architecture, identify technical debt, and recommend modernization opportunities

Solution Design & Delivery

- Design and architect highly available, scalable, fault-tolerant, and cost-optimized solutions on AWS
- Lead the technical delivery of AWS cloud migration, modernization, and transformation projects for enterprise clients
- Translate business requirements into well-architected technical solutions leveraging AWS services
- Own the solution design and delivery throughout the project lifecycle — from discovery and planning to implementation and handover
- Collaborate with project managers, delivery leads, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of engagements
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to delivery engineers and junior architects
- Conduct architecture reviews, define best practices, and ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework principles
- Develop infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates, reference architectures, and reusable delivery artifacts
- Engage in pre-sales activities including solution scoping, effort estimation,



and technical proposal development
- Manage technical risks and escalations during project delivery

On-Premises Datacenter & Assessment Expertise

Virtualization Platforms: Must to Have

– Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere/vCenter, ESXi, Hyper-V, and related hypervisor technologies

- Physical Infrastructure: Valuable to Have

– Knowledge of enterprise server hardware (Dell, HP, Cisco UCS), SAN/NAS storage (NetApp, EMC, Pure Storage), and datacenter networking (Cisco, Juniper, F5)

- Operating Systems: Must to Have

– Deep expertise in Windows Server and Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration in enterprise environments

- CMDB & ITSM Tools: Must to Have

– Familiarity with ServiceNow, BMC Helix, or similar CMDB tools for asset inventory and dependency mapping

• Monitoring & Management: Must to Have

– Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Datadog, or PRTG

- Networking: Must to Have

– Strong understanding of enterprise networking — VLANs, firewalls, load balancers, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies

- Databases: Good to Have

– Knowledge of on-premises database platforms — Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and their migration considerations

• Middleware & Applications: Must to Have

– Understanding of enterprise middleware (WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, IIS) and application server environments

Assessment Tools & Services

• AWS Migration Evaluator (formerly TSO Logic):

– Experience building directional business cases, right-sizing analysis, and projected cloud cost modelling

- AWS Application Discovery Service:

– Proficiency with both agentless (VMware connector) and agent-based discovery for collecting server configuration, performance, and dependency data

- AWS Migration Hub:

– Experience using Migration Hub for centralized tracking of migration progress and assessment data aggregation

- AWS Transform Assessment:

– Familiarity with automated assessment capabilities for cost optimization and migration planning

- Third-Party Discovery Tools:

– Experience with tools like RVTools, CloudAmize, Movere, Flexera, Device42, or Lakeside for on-premises inventory collection

- Data Collection Methods:





– Ability to work with vCenter exports, SCCM data, CMDB extracts, and manual inventory data to build comprehensive assessments

AWS Cloud Expertise

• Experience: 6+ years of hands-on experience in designing and delivering solutions on AWS

- AWS Certifications:

– AWS Solutions Architect – Professional (required); additional certifications such as DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty, or Migration Specialty are preferred

- Core AWS Services:

– Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Auto Scaling

– Storage: S3, EBS, EFS, FSx, Storage Gateway, Glacier

– Networking: VPC, Direct Connect, Transit Gateway, Route 53, CloudFront, PrivateLink

– Database: RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift, ElastiCache

– Security: IAM, KMS, WAF, GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Config

– Management: CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, Organizations, Control Tower (Landing Zone)

– Migration: AWS DMS, Application Migration Service (MGN), DataSync, Transfer Family, Snow Family

– Application Integration: SQS, SNS, Step Functions, EventBridge

- Infrastructure as Code:

– Proficiency in Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK

- DevOps & CI/CD:

– Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation tools

- Scripting/Programming:

– Proficiency in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages

Delivery Experience

• Demonstrated ability to lead end-to-end technical delivery engagements with enterprise customers

• Experience managing migration projects of 100+ servers across multiple waves

• Proven track record of building and presenting business cases to C-level stakeholders

This role is for a Senior AWS Migration & Delivery Architect who can assess an enterprise's existing infrastructure, design the target AWS solution, lead the migration from on-premises to AWS, and ensure successful end-to-end Delivery.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Migration Specialty certification

• Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP) in addition to AWS

• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, MAS-TRM)

• Prior experience in a consulting/professional services or systems integrator environment

• Exposure to FinOps practices and AWS cost optimization strategies

• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and connectivity patterns (AWS Outposts, Direct Connect)

• Experience with mainframe or legacy system migration assessments

• Familiarity with containerization assessment tools (AWS App2Container)
