We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to design practical, secure, and scalable technology solutions aligned with business and programme objectives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps, Terraform, GitHub, and security-first architecture principles.

The candidate must translate business requirements into implementation-ready architecture, explain technical trade-offs, collaborate with enterprise and security architecture teams, and remain involved throughout delivery and handover.

Key Responsibilities

- Design solution architectures based on business requirements and real-world technical constraints.
- Create detailed architecture designs that engineering teams can implement.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Work with GitHub, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
- Apply security-first architecture principles, including Zero Trust.
- Collaborate with principal architects, security teams, and enterprise architecture reviewers.
- Explain and justify architectural decisions and technical trade-offs.
- Support implementation, delivery sequencing,



and handover to engineering teams.
- Maintain architecture documentation as part of delivery completion.
- Mentor engineering teams and promote independent technical decision-making.

Required Skills
- 10+ years of overall IT experience, with strong solution architecture experience.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong knowledge of GitHub and DevOps practices.
- Experience in security architecture and Zero Trust principles.
- Cloud architecture and infrastructure design experience.
- Ability to communicate technical decisions to engineering and architecture stakeholders.
- Experience working with enterprise architecture and security review processes.
- Strong documentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
