Summary of Role The Engineering & Applications Team delivers robust IT capabilities, products, and solutions that support business growth, cost savings, and seamless collaboration with partners and customers.

The Senior Snowflake Developer will support enterprise data and supply chain functions by developing and maintaining complex data integration solutions. The role focuses on scalable, efficient data solutions within Snowflake, enabling advanced analytics and seamless integration with SAP ECC and other enterprise systems.

Scope of Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and integration frameworks between Snowflake and SAP ECC.
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP ECC using tools such as SAP Data Services, CPI DS, or custom connectors.
- Develop scalable Snowflake data models and optimize performance.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and security across integrated systems.
- Collaborate with SAP functional teams, data architects, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement data integration solutions between Snowflake and SAP ECC.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake data models, views, and stored procedures.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Ensure data governance, lineage, and compliance across platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data integration issues and performance bottlenecks.




- Document technical specifications and maintain best practices.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- 3+ years of experience writing SQL or other query languages.
- At least 2 end-to-end project implementation experiences.
- Experience designing, building, and configuring Snowflake integrations to meet business process and application requirements.
- Ability to lead client discussions, conduct workshops, drive integration deliverables, and coordinate with other teams.
- Ability to understand existing system landscapes and redesign Snowflake integrations based on changing requirements.
- Strong knowledge of Snowflake features, including Time Travel, Fail-safe, Streams, Tasks, Cloning, Data Masking, and Data Sharing.
- Experience with Snowflake INSERT, UPDATE, and MERGE commands.
- Knowledge of Snowflake stages, including User, Table, Named, and External Stages.
- Experience with different types of Snowflake tables and views.
- Experience creating external tables.
- Solid SAP integration and SQL skills, including building Snowflake queries to transfer data from SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA to a planning system.
- Understanding of Kinaxis integration touchpoints and its data model is preferred.
- CPI experience is an added advantage.
