Senior Software Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions for engineering applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in full-stack development, application architecture, API development, and enterprise system integration, with an added advantage of experience in CAD-related software development, CAD automation, or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems.

The role involves developing scalable applications, integrating engineering software with enterprise platforms, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable and effective software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & Application Architecture

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance software applications.
- Develop responsive frontend interfaces and robust backend services using modern development frameworks and technologies.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and application integrations.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code following established coding standards.
- Identify and resolve software defects, performance bottlenecks, and technical issues.
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, testing, and continuous improvement of existing applications.

Full-Stack Development & System Integration
- Develop and maintain end-to-end software applications across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Integrate applications with enterprise systems such as CAD, PLM, ERP,



and other engineering platforms.
- Implement secure data exchange and seamless communication between applications using APIs and integration frameworks.
- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data-processing workflows.
- Contribute to application deployment, CI/CD pipelines, version control, and cloud-based development environments.

CAD Automation & PLM Integration
- Develop software solutions to automate engineering workflows, design processes, drawing generation, and model validation.
- Work with CAD APIs and development toolkits to build custom utilities, plugins, scripts, and integrations.
- Support PLM system customization, configuration, and integration with other enterprise applications.
- Work with engineering data structures, Bill of Materials (BOM), document management, change management, and release workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering and domain teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.

Collaboration & Delivery
- Work closely with technical leads, solution architects, product teams, and engineering stakeholders.
- Analyse technical requirements and recommend appropriate development approaches.
- Estimate development tasks, communicate progress, and deliver assigned work within project timelines.
- Prepare technical documentation and support application testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies, development frameworks, and engineering software integration practices.
