What exactly is the objective of this role?

We're looking for a Senior SDET to join OneBot and own the quality of the SEP platform end to end. You will define the test strategy, build and maintain automation that runs in CI/CD, and probe our APIs for weaknesses before our customers can find them. This role suits someone with around 5-7 years of relevant experience who combines strong engineering skills with a curious, adversarial approach to testing.

What will be my Key Responsibilities?

- Own test planning and execution for the whole SEP platform across DEV, STG and PROD, and own the test strategy for your product area across functional, regression, integration, performance and security testing.
- Build end-to-end tests for our APIs,



covering authentication and authorization (including 3-legged flows with consent), calls through the Apigee proxy, and responses from the SEnF resource server. Verify that valid calls succeed and that invalid, expired or unauthorized calls are rejected correctly, including permissions and client isolation.
- Actively try to break the APIs and platform with malformed, extreme and malicious input, and report every weakness you find. This includes invalid and out-of-order requests, boundary values, injection-style input, token misuse and replay, auth bypass attempts, rate and load abuse, fuzzing, and failure and resilience scenarios.
- Design, build and maintain scalable test automation frameworks, and automate regression and end-to-end tests that run reliably in CI/CD pipelines. Keep these suites fast, reliable and trustworthy by managing flaky tests, test data and environments.
- Run performance and load testing, and use the results to flag bottlenecks, regressions and capacity risks to the team before release.
- Use AI tools to design test cases, generate test data and code, surface edge cases and coverage gaps, and speed up failure analysis, while critically validating everything the tools produce.
- Investigate failures across components, including API gateways, auth servers and cloud-hosted services, with basic troubleshooting in containerized environments. Identify root causes and report defects with clear evidence and reproducible steps.
- Shift quality left by working with developers and product partners on testability, code reviews and acceptance criteria from day one, and by contributing to release-readiness decisions, quality metrics and continuous improvement of our agile ways of working.
- Mentor teammates through reviews, design discussions and pairing, raising the bar for the whole team, and communicate clearly in English through well-written test cases, defect reports and status updates.

What we're looking for

- 5-7 years of relevant experience,



including several years of QA experience in API or cloud platform testing.
- Hands-on expertise in end-to-end and functional API testing, covering positive, negative and edge cases.
- A solid understanding of modern authentication and authorization, and of how API gateways, auth servers and cloud-hosted services interact.
- Experience with test automation and CI/CD, and with performance and load testing.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted testing.
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience, and good English communication skills.

What will be nice to have?

- Experience with telecom or network APIs.
- Experience with contract testing, chaos testing or security testing.
- Exposure to evaluating ML- and LLM-powered features, including how to test non-deterministic outputs.
- Experience with mobile test automation at scale across real-device farms.
