Role: Senior SAP ABAP Fiori Consultant

Location: Pune

Experience: Between 8 to 12 Years

What You'll Do:

- Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of SAP ABAP and SAP Fiori solutions.

- Develop and enhance reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, and custom applications using classical and Object-Oriented ABAP.

- Build and optimize solutions using CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL, BAdIs, Enhancement Frameworks, and S/4HANA extensibility approaches.

- Design and develop responsive SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori applications using Fiori Elements and freestyle development methodologies.

- Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot OData services using SAP Gateway.

- Integrate SAP applications with external systems using APIs, IDocs, RFCs, SOAP, and REST-based web services.

- Configure and maintain Fiori Launchpad catalogs, groups, spaces, pages, tiles, target mappings, and role-based access controls.

- Perform S/4HANA custom code remediation, code optimization, and performance tuning activities.

- Translate business and functional requirements into detailed technical designs and implementation plans.

- Conduct technical reviews, code reviews, and enforce SAP development best practices.

- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and project teams.

- Support transport management, release governance, deployment planning, and production rollouts.

- Participate in requirement workshops, testing cycles, cutover planning, go-live support, and hypercare activities.

- Investigate production incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.





- Collaborate with functional consultants, integration teams, security teams, Basis administrators, UX teams, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP technical consulting.

- Strong expertise in Classical ABAP, ABAP Objects, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Data Dictionary, and Debugging.

- Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA development concepts including CDS Views, AMDP, Code Pushdown, and performance optimization.

- Strong hands-on experience in SAPUI5, SAP Fiori Elements, JavaScript, XML Views, JSON, HTML5, CSS, and Fiori Design Guidelines.

- Experience building and supporting OData services using SAP Gateway.

- Solid knowledge of SAP integration technologies including APIs, IDocs, RFCs, Proxy Services, and Web Services.

- Experience configuring and troubleshooting SAP Fiori Launchpad, Catalogs, Roles, Target Mappings, Spaces, and Pages.

- Strong understanding of SAP authorization concepts, secure coding practices, and transport management processes.

- Experience working on at least two end-to-end SAP implementations, S/4HANA transformations, rollouts, upgrades, or support engagements.

- Ability to create technical design documents, effort estimates, and implementation strategies.

- Experience mentoring developers and leading technical workstreams.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
