Job Title: Senior Resident – Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG)

Location: Mangadu, Chennai, Tamil Nadu

We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Senior Resident in Obstetrics & Gynaecology (OBG) to join our medical college and hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for providing quality patient care, managing obstetric and gynaecological cases, assisting in surgical procedures, and supporting undergraduate medical teaching and training.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide comprehensive care to antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal patients.
- Manage obstetric emergencies and gynaecological cases.
- Conduct normal deliveries and assist in caesarean sections and other surgical procedures as per institutional protocols.
- Participate in labour room, outpatient department (OPD), inpatient department (IPD), and emergency duties.
- Monitor maternal and fetal health and ensure appropriate clinical management.
- Maintain accurate patient records, case sheets, and medical documentation.
- Participate in departmental academic activities, seminars,



case discussions, and undergraduate teaching.
- Coordinate with consultants, faculty members, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care.
- Follow hospital protocols, infection control practices, and patient safety standards.

Eligibility Criteria
- MD/MS in Obstetrics & Gynaecology from an NMC-recognized institution, as applicable under current regulations.
- Valid medical registration.
- Relevant clinical experience and positive communication skills are preferred.

Job Type: Full-time Work Location: Sri Muthukumaran Medical College & Research Institute, Mangadu, Chennai.

Pay: From ₹120,000.00 per month
