Role Description The Senior Research and Development Engineer will work on-site at the Bengaluru center contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of core product features, embracing latest AI technologies. Day-to-day responsibilities include analysing enhancement requests, developing prototypes, and translating technical requirements into robust software solutions. The role involves conducting systematic testing, analyzing results, and iterating designs to improve performance, reliability, and usability.

The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional R&D; teams, document findings and technical designs,



and support integration of new capabilities into existing platforms. The position also requires staying informed about emerging technologies and best practices to ensure the products remain competitive and innovative.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex technical problems and interpret research and testing data.
- Proven experience in Research and Development (R&D;), including concept exploration and feasibility studies, prototyping, design iteration and implementation
- Hands-on experience with Testing and validation of software or product features to ensure quality and performance.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Robotics or a related technical discipline.
- Strong Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (such as C++) and familiarity with software development tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an R&D; setting, communicate technical ideas clearly, and document work effectively.
- Experience with CAD/CAM, Simulation, Handson Factory and exposure to Dassault Systemes or competitor products, is an advantage.
