Role Description The Senior Quality Assurance Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cuttack, responsible for overseeing end-to-end quality control and quality assurance across all ready-mix concrete production activities. This role includes designing and implementing QA/QC processes, monitoring batching operations, supervising laboratory testing, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations. The person in this role will lead a quality team, conduct regular inspections at plants and project sites, and collaborate closely with production, logistics, and sales teams to resolve quality issues and optimize product performance.

Daily responsibilities also include reviewing test reports, authorizing mix designs, maintaining documentation for audits, driving continuous improvement initiatives,



and training staff on quality standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated expertise in quality management, including development and implementation of QA/QC procedures, internal audits, and corrective action programs.
- Solid knowledge of concrete technology, mix design, materials testing, and relevant construction and industry standards (e.g., IS codes or equivalent).
- Experience leading and mentoring quality teams, with proven ability to coordinate with production, logistics, and project stakeholders in a manufacturing or construction environment.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret test data, identify root causes, and implement practical, data-driven improvements.
- Proficiency in technical documentation, report writing, and use of digital tools or software for quality tracking, data analysis, and performance monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; professional certifications in quality management are an advantage.
- Prior experience in ready-mix concrete or building materials quality management at a senior or supervisory level.
- Solid understanding of safety standards and environmental compliance, with commitment to sustainable and responsible operations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work on-site in Cuttack and travel to plants or project sites as required.
