Job Summary The Senior Manager – Purchase will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement activities for construction projects, ensuring timely availability of materials, cost optimization, vendor development, quality compliance, and adherence to project schedules and budgets.

Key Responsibilities

- Procurement Planning: Develop procurement plans based on project requirements, construction schedules, and material consumption forecasts.
- Material Procurement: Manage procurement of construction materials, including cement, steel, aggregates, sand, RMC, blocks, electrical, plumbing, MEP materials, finishing materials, and other project requirements.
- Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and develop reliable vendors, manufacturers, suppliers, and contractors.
- Cost Control: Negotiate competitive rates, analyze quotations, conduct price comparisons, and achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Purchase Orders: Review and approve purchase requisitions, purchase orders, work orders,



and procurement-related documentation as per company policies and delegated authority.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Planning, QS, Stores, Accounts, and other departments to ensure timely material availability.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate commercial terms, payment conditions, delivery schedules, credit periods, warranties, and other contractual requirements.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market prices, material availability, supplier performance, and price fluctuations to support procurement decisions.
- Delivery Management: Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites and resolve supply delays, quality issues, and shortages.
- Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with the Stores Department to monitor stock levels, avoid overstocking, prevent material shortages, and minimize wastage.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure purchased materials meet approved specifications, technical standards, project requirements, and quality procedures.
- Budget Management: Monitor procurement

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
