Senior Project Accountant, Fractional Controller, Accounting Manager

Location: Onsite, HSR Layout, Bengaluru

Work timings: 2 pm- 11 pm

Contract to Full-time Transition

Role Overview:

Acts as the investigative engine of the clean-up project. This individual takes the discrepancies identified by the clerical tier, investigates the root causes within the support files, and prepares the correcting journal entries.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Migrate old transactions into the recent layout, investigating and correcting commissions and firm remits.
2. Adjust remit invoices and contingency cost invoices for discrepancies, ensuring a perfect tie-out.
3. Review Firm entries against TYM (This Year/Month) and post correcting journal entries.
4.



Investigate unmatched bank feed transactions and trace cash discrepancies.
5. Perform balance sheet reconciliations for the year and tie out clearing accounts.
6. Prepare adjusting entries and escalate only the most complex, systemic issues to the Controller level.

Preferred Qualifications :

1. 4–7 years of accounting experience. Strong background in reconciliations, discrepancy investigation, and full-cycle accounting.
2. Familiarity with legal or professional services billing is highly preferred.
