About the role

We’re a textile and home décor export house, and we need a senior merchandiser who owns an order from the first sample to the day the container leaves. Buyer on one phone, factory floor on the other. That’s the job.

You won’t be passing messages between people. You’ll run the order.

What you’ll own

- Buyer communication for your accounts: samples, approvals, pricing, delays, complaints. You’re their single point of contact.
- Sampling from proto to fit to PP to shipment sample, with buyer comments closed fast.
- TNA calendars for every order, and pulling them back on track when something slips.
- Production follow-up with in-house teams and vendors: fabric, trims, cutting, stitching, finishing.
- Quality checks and inspections. When something fails, you find the cause and fix it, not just report it.
- Packaging: specs, labels, cartons, and buyer packing requirements, signed off before production wraps.
- Shipping documents, booking, and dispatch, working with the logistics and accounts teams.
- Compliance requirements on your orders (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, GOTS, depending on the buyer).




- Guiding junior merchandisers and coordinators on your team.

Who we’re looking for

- 5+ years in export merchandising, home textiles, home décor, or garments.
- Hands-on with at least one of the EU, US, or UK markets. You know how those buyers talk and what makes them go quiet.
- Solid on Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW), costing, and order follow-up.
- Comfortable with Excel and ERP or order-tracking systems.
- Explicit written and spoken English. Buyers will judge you on your emails.
- Calm when a deadline is at risk. Calm doesn’t mean silent, though. We want to hear about problems early.
- Willing to take calls in buyer time zones during peak season.

Good to have

- Experience handling a team.
- Exposure to compliance audits.
- Vendor development or sourcing experience.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
