Senior Medical Coder – ED Facility, Professional, E/M OP & Ancillary

We are hiring experienced Medical Coders with expertise in ED Facility and Professional, E/M Outpatient, and Ancillary medical services coding, including Laboratory, Pathology, Radiology, Gastroenterology, ENT, General Medicine, Cardiology, Urology ETC.,

Minimum Requirements

- Experience: 4 years of medical coding experience.
- Coding Expertise: Hands-on experience in ED Facility and Skilled, E/M Outpatient, and Ancillary coding.
- Ancillary Specialties: Experience in Laboratory, Pathology, Radiology, Gastroenterology, ENT, General Medicine, Cardiology, Urology ETC
- Education: Science graduate or postgraduate.
- Certification: Current AAPC and/or AHIMA certification.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, medical terminology, and applicable coding guidelines.
- Communication: Good verbal and written English skills.
- Work Location: Hyderabad

Responsibilities





- Review medical records and assign accurate codes based on clinical documentation.
- Perform ED Facility and Professional, E/M Outpatient, and Ancillary coding as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, CMS requirements, payer policies, and client-specific standards.
- Identify documentation gaps and resolve coding-related queries.
- Meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround-time targets.
- Maintain coding accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with healthcare data privacy requirements.
