Position Purpose

The Business Analytics role will help the retail sales function in driving data‑driven decision‑making across the mutual fund products and channels they work with. This role involves delivering actionable insights that support AUM growth, improve investor experience, strengthen distribution effectiveness, and enhance overall business performance.

Principal Accountabilities

1. Business Performance Analytics

· Build and maintain dashboards, analytical models, and performance reports for tracking AUM, flows, market share, product performance, and investor trends.

· Generate insights on distributor behavior, channel performance, investor demographics, and product contribution.

· Identify drivers of growth, opportunities, gaps, and emerging business patterns through advanced data analysis.

2. Distribution & Channel Analytics

· Analyze channel‑wise sales productivity, sales funnel movement, campaign performance, and branch-level profitability.

· Provide insights to support sales strategy, territory planning, and distributor segmentation.

· Create frameworks for retail sales target distribution

3. Customer Analytics





· Develop investor lifecycle insights—acquisition, activation, retention, SIP behavior, churn prediction, and product penetration.

· Support sales teams with segmentation, targeting, and personalization analytics.

4. Predictive & Advanced Analytics

· Build predictive models around SIP longevity, AUM growth, cross-sell potential, distributor behavior, and redemption risk.

· Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership, enabling quick and informed decision-making.

· NISM Series V A - Mutual Funds Distributor Module certified

· NISM Series XXI A - NISM PMS

Preferred Industry Experience

- Financial Services preferably Mutual Fund sales
- 8–12 years of experience in business analytics, preferably within the mutual fund, wealth management, or BFSI domain
