About the Role:-

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in backend application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture, along with experience building scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications.

The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality software, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to technical decisions and code quality.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using
- Java and Spring Boot.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices following clean coding
- principles and established design patterns.
- Design and implement effective database queries, data models, and
- persistence solutions.
- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to automated testing
- practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve
- application performance and reliability.
- Participate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural
- decisions.
- Collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and
- other developers in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Use Git and Maven for source control and build management.
- Work with Docker and Linux/Unix environments to support application
- development and deployment.
- Follow secure coding practices and contribute to technical documentation
- and engineering standards.

Must-Have Qualifications:-

- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
- Strong knowledge of Java 17 or higher, or equivalent experience with the
- Java versions used in the existing project.
- Strong experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices
- architecture.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns,
- exception handling, and Java collections.




- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or
- Oracle, including SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases where relevant to the application.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito.
- Proficiency in Git, Maven, and Linux/Unix environments.
- Working knowledge of Docker and containerized application deployment.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaborative software
- development practices.
- Ability to debug complex issues and deliver maintainable, production-ready
- code.

Good to Have:-

- Experience with Apache Kafka or other event-driven messaging systems.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or
- Terraform.
- Exposure to container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes or
- Docker Swarm, depending on the deployment environment.
- Knowledge of Bash scripting for automation.
- Experience with application monitoring, logging, performance tuning, and
- distributed tracing.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
