Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the maintenance of all equipment, including preventive and breakdown maintenance.
2. Plan maintenance activities and oversee their execution through departmental officers in coordination with the plant on a daily basis.
3. Ensure that weekly scheduled mechanical maintenance activities are completed as per the maintenance plan.
4. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and computer-generated reports.
5. Check and maintain daily utility consumption records.
6. Identify equipment failures, diagnose operational faults, and implement necessary modifications to eliminate machine malfunctions.
7. Prepare and implement action plans based on daily feedback and any abnormalities observed.
8. Identify the required spare parts through the SAP system.

Maintain positive knowledge of ISO standards, safety requirements, and maintenance procedures.
10. Ensure proper housekeeping and implementation of 5S practices in the Maintenance Department.
11. Coordinate with all departments to resolve maintenance-related issues.
12. Ensure achievement of all Key Result Areas (KRAs) as directed by the management.
13. Allocate work to contractors and issue the necessary work permits as per requirements.
14. Maintain records of maintenance and repair work, including the type of work performed and the associated costs.
15. Prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM) for all planned maintenance jobs.
