From embedded software and firmware to device drivers, RTOS and semiconductor engineering, finding the right talent requires more than keyword matching. It takes technical curiosity, strong market research, an understanding of engineering talent pools, and the ability to identify people whose work aligns with the role.

At CareerXperts, we work with technology-led businesses to identify and hire talent for technically demanding roles. We are looking for a Senior Embedded Recruiter who understands the embedded engineering ecosystem and can take ownership of complex hiring mandates from research to closure.

What You’ll Do

- Own end-to-end recruitment for embedded systems, firmware, semiconductor and related engineering roles.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand technical requirements, team structures, role expectations and hiring priorities.
- Build targeted talent pipelines across embedded software, BSP, device drivers, RTOS, Linux, automotive embedded systems, SoC and firmware engineering.
- Conduct in-depth talent research, market mapping and competitor talent analysis to identify relevant candidates.
- Source passive talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, X-ray search, referrals and other relevant channels.
- Assess candidate experience, technical exposure, career progression and role alignment before presenting profiles.
- Manage candidate engagement, screening, interview coordination, feedback, offer negotiations and closures.
- Maintain a strong candidate experience through explicit communication and consistent follow-ups.
- Track recruitment metrics, pipeline health, conversion ratios and turnaround times.
- Develop market intelligence on talent availability, compensation benchmarks, hiring trends and competing organisations.




- Work closely with internal stakeholders to improve search strategies and deliver against hiring commitments.

What We’re Looking For

- 3–8 years of experience in technical recruitment, with substantial exposure to embedded systems, firmware, semiconductor or related engineering hiring.
- Strong understanding of embedded engineering terminology and role distinctions across firmware, embedded Linux, RTOS, BSP, device drivers and hardware-software interfaces.
- Experience hiring for technical roles across mid-level, senior and niche engineering positions.
- Strong command of Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping and passive candidate sourcing.
- Ability to interpret technical job descriptions and translate them into effective search strategies.
- Strong stakeholder management, candidate assessment and negotiation skills.
- A research-oriented mindset with the ability to work on difficult-to-fill positions.
- Ownership of recruitment delivery, pipeline quality and closure outcomes.

What Will Set You Apart

- Exposure to semiconductor, automotive electronics, SoC, ASIC, FPGA or silicon engineering recruitment.
- Experience supporting product engineering organisations, R&D; centres or deep-tech businesses.
- The ability to distinguish between adjacent technical profiles rather than relying solely on titles and keywords.
- A track record of closing niche engineering roles in competitive talent markets.
