Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET API Developer with 6 to 9 years of expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, secure, and scalable APIs using Microsoft .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have robust hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and Cloud Platforms.

The role requires technical leadership capabilities, including mentoring team members, driving API architecture decisions, ensuring coding best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Key Responsibilities

API Architecture & Design

- Design and architect scalable, secure, and high-performing RESTful APIs.
- Define API contracts, endpoint structures, versioning strategies, and security frameworks.
- Drive API design best practices and governance standards across projects.

Development & Implementation
- Develop, enhance, and maintain APIs using C#, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and ASP.NET Core.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.

Microservices & Integration
- Develop and implement microservices-based applications.
- Design integration solutions with internal and external systems.
- Work with Docker and containerized deployments.

Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests using frameworks such as xUnit.
- Ensure code quality through automated testing and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and integration issues.

Performance Optimization
- Monitor API performance and identify bottlenecks.




- Implement performance tuning, caching, and optimization strategies.
- Ensure APIs can effectively handle high transaction volumes.

Security & Compliance
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect).
- Apply API security best practices, encryption standards, and secure coding guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security requirements.

Technical Leadership
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
- Conduct design reviews and code reviews.
- Participate in architecture discussions and technology evaluations.

Documentation & Collaboration
- Create and maintain API documentation, specifications, and usage guidelines.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Architects, Frontend Developers, QA teams, and Business Stakeholders.
- Support deployment, release, and production troubleshooting activities.
