Job Summary

Accupack Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced, skilled, and detail-oriented Senior Design Executive to join our Design Department. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks and should be capable of independently handling engineering design activities, 3D modelling, assemblies, detailed manufacturing drawings, and machine component design.

The candidate must have practical experience in the machine manufacturing or engineering industry, with a strong understanding of machine components, fabrication, manufacturing processes, and engineering specifications. The role requires the ability to handle complex design assignments, implement design modifications, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical support for machine development and production activities.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review 2D engineering drawings using AutoCAD.

Develop 3D models, complex assemblies, and machine component designs using SolidWorks.

Prepare detailed manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, and production drawings.

Independently handle design and drafting activities for machine components and assemblies.

Modify and update engineering drawings as per project requirements and design changes.

Ensure proper dimensions, tolerances, fits, and engineering specifications in all drawings.





Understand machine mechanisms and develop designs based on functional and manufacturing requirements.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, Purchase, Assembly, and other departments for design-related activities.

Maintain design documents, drawing registers, revision records, and technical documentation.

Support new machine development, product improvement, and existing machine modification activities.

Incorporate design changes based on production feedback, machine trials, and assembly requirements.

Identify and resolve design-related issues in coordination with concerned departments.

Ensure designs are practical, accurate, and suitable for manufacturing and assembly.

Provide technical guidance and design support to Production and Assembly teams whenever required.

Ensure compliance with company design standards, engineering practices, and project specifications.

Maintain accuracy, consistency, and quality in all design and drafting work.

Eligibility Criteria

Experience: 7 to 8 Years

Education: ITI – Draftsman (Mechanical) Only

Location Preference: Candidates willing to work at Rabale, Navi Mumbai.

Industry Preference: Machine Manufacturing / Engineering Industry

Required Skills

Mandatory hands-on experience in AutoCAD.

Mandatory hands-on experience in SolidWorks.

Strong knowledge of 2D drafting, 3D modelling,



and assembly design.

Extensive practical knowledge of engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication drawings.

Good understanding of machine components, mechanisms, and assemblies.

Ability to independently handle design assignments and engineering modifications.

Strong knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, fits, and basic engineering standards.

Ability to read, interpret, review, and modify engineering drawings.

Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication, and assembly requirements.

Strong problem-solving and design modification skills.

Good attention to detail, accuracy, and technical documentation.

Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, Purchase, and Assembly teams.

Ability to work independently and manage design activities with minimal supervision.

Good communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with 7 to 8 years of relevant experience in a machine manufacturing or engineering company.

Candidates with strong, practical, and independent working experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Candidates experienced in machine component design, 3D modelling, assemblies, fabrication, and manufacturing drawings.

Candidates capable of independently handling design modifications and resolving technical issues.

Candidates with practical exposure to machine development, production coordination, and assembly-related design activities.
