Kanan is looking for a Senior Content Editor with strong academic writing and proofreading skills, along with the ability to manage content quality, guide writers, and oversee daily workflows. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in SOP writing, academic content, admission essays, or editing who are ready to take ownership of content quality and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Review and proofread Statements of Purpose (SOPs) for grammar, clarity, structure, accuracy, and overall quality.
- Evaluate whether SOPs effectively present students’ academic backgrounds, motivations, career goals, and reasons for choosing a particular course or university.
- Ensure content is personalized, logically structured, relevant, and free from factual errors.
- Manage daily task allocation, monitor work progress, and ensure assignments are completed within deadlines.
- Guide SOP writers, provide constructive feedback, and help improve their writing quality.
- Monitor team productivity, turnaround times, pending tasks, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve queries and ensure smooth workflow.
- Identify recurring errors and improve proofreading guidelines and quality-check processes.





What We’re Looking For
- Excellent English grammar, vocabulary, sentence construction, and editing skills.
- Experience in SOP writing, academic content writing, admission essays, proofreading, or related fields.
- Ability to understand student profiles and assess the relevance, personalization, and flow of written content.
- Strong organizational, communication, and team-coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain consistent quality.
- A responsible, detail-oriented professional who can work independently and guide team members.

Preferred BackgroundExperience in SOP writing, academic editing, admission essays, student application documents, or education-related content will be preferred.
