Job Title: Senior Consultant - System Management

Location: Coimbatore

Experience: 3-5 years

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant specializing in System Management with a strong focus on EMC Storage to join our agile team in Coimbatore. In this role, you will be responsible for administering, optimizing, and supporting our enterprise-grade storage infrastructure to ensure maximum availability and performance. You will play a critical part in maintaining our data integrity, driving disaster recovery readiness, and collaborating across technology domains to deliver seamless IT operations.

:

1. Administer and manage Dell EMC storage infrastructure across enterprise data centre environments including PowerMax Unity VNX IsilonPowerScale XtremIO and PowerStore platforms.
2. Perform installation configuration and administration of SAN and NAS storage systems ensuring high availability and optimal utilisation.
3. Configure and manage storage provisioning activities including LUN creation expansion zoning masking and allocation for various workloads.
4. Implement and support data protection solutions including snapshots replication and integration with backup tools such as Avamar Networker and Data Domain.
5. Monitor storage infrastructure analyse performance metrics and optimise capacity and performance to meet business requirements.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve storagerelated incidents across L1 L2 and L3 levels including performing root cause analysis RCA for critical issues.
7. Manage and support SAN fabric technologies including zoning and configuration on Cisco MDS and Brocade switches.
8.



Perform storage system upgrades patching and firmware updates ensuring minimal impact to business operations.
9. Implement and maintain replication technologies such as SRDF RecoverPoint and MirrorView to support disaster recovery requirements.
10. Follow ITIL processes for incident problem change and configuration management ensuring SLA compliance and maintaining accurate documentation.

Skills and Qualifications:

Mandatory Skills: EMC Storage

Strong knowledge of storage concepts including SAN, NAS, protocols FC, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, RAID, thin provisioning, snapshots, and replication technologies.

Proven ability in troubleshooting, operational support, and documentation, along with the capacity to act as an escalation point for complex issues and mentor junior team members.

Coordinate effectively with infrastructure teams including VMware, Windows, Linux, and database units to ensure seamless integration of storage with compute and applications.

Participation in disaster recovery drills and validation of backup and replication strategies to meet RPO and RTO objectives.

Compliance with security governance, data retention policies, and ITIL frameworks.
