Job Summary

Webandcrafts is looking for an experienced and strategic Senior Business Analyst to drive requirement analysis, stakeholder collaboration, solution design, and product planning. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business analysis, Agile methodologies, and the software development lifecycle, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.

The role involves working closely with clients, sales, design, and development teams, while guiding junior Business Analysts and ensuring successful project delivery aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead requirement-gathering sessions with clients, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and internal teams.
- Analyze business needs, existing processes, and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and support product strategy.
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements and propose suitable solutions.
- Prepare, review, and validate Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), System Requirements Specifications (SRS), user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, process flows, use cases, and technical documentation.
- Work closely with UI/UX designers, developers, QA teams, and project managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Develop and maintain process models, workflow diagrams, user journey maps, and other business analysis artifacts.
- Support product roadmap planning, backlog prioritization, and requirement refinement based on business value and stakeholder feedback.




- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential challenges, and coordinate with relevant teams to develop mitigation plans.
- Mentor junior Business Analysts and review their documentation to maintain quality and consistency.
- Monitor project progress and define relevant KPIs to evaluate business outcomes and process efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, leadership, and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure deliverables meet business requirements, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Other relevant graduate qualifications will also be considered.
- 8+ years of professional experience in business analysis, preferably in software development or IT services.
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proven experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, business process analysis, and solution documentation.
- Expertise in preparing BRDs, SRS documents, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Robust knowledge of process modelling, workflow diagrams, and UML diagrams.
- Experience managing product backlogs, prioritizing requirements,



and supporting sprint planning.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and senior stakeholders.
- Experience mentoring junior team members and reviewing business analysis deliverables.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable solutions.
- Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate business and technical concepts effectively.

Tools and Technologies Experience with relevant tools such as:
- Project and Agile Management: JIRA, Confluence, Trello, Asana, or Zoho Sprints.
- Documentation and Process Modelling: Microsoft Visio, Lucidchart, Microsoft Word, or Google Docs.
- Wireframing and Prototyping: Figma, Balsamiq, or Adobe XD.
- Communication and Collaboration: Microsoft Teams, Slack, or Zoom.

Preferred Skills
- Experience working with international clients and cross-functional teams.
- Exposure to product management, roadmap planning, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience in software development projects involving web applications, mobile applications, or enterprise systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
