We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our export firm based in New Delhi. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, GST filing, daily accounting transactions, maintaining client and vendor ledgers, export oriented banking transactions.

Responsibilities

- Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Accurately assist CA for filing IT returns
- Maintain sale, purchase, debit, credit notes
- Maintain Rodtep and Drawback details
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
- Prepare and submit tax returns, including GST filing, ensuring compliance with tax regulations




- Maintain accurate records for daily/monthly payments
- Maintain debtor and creditor list accurately
- Prepare bank documents for incoming overseas remittances
- Co-ordinate with banks for export documentation including document lodging and E BRC.
- TDS deposit and filing.
- Knowledge about mutual fund investment accounting including preparation of capital gain/loss statement.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and best practices

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven work experience as an Accountant for minimum 9-10 years
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Tally and MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
