Role Description The Senior Accountant role is a full-time, on-site position based in New Delhi. This role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.

The Senior

Accountant will review and supervise bookkeeping, payroll processing, and BAS-related work, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and client requirements. The role includes supporting Australian taxation processes, analyzing financial data, identifying variances, and providing insights to improve financial controls and reporting.

collaborate with clients to clarify financial needs, and contribute to the refinement of internal processes and documentation.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with taxation and compliance, preferably including Australian taxation support and BAS preparation.
- Proficiency in payroll management and financial record management, with careful attention to accuracy and confidentiality.
- Advanced skills in accounting software and spreadsheets (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and ability to work with digital financial tools.
- Sound analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to interpret financial data and provide clear recommendations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; qualified certifications (e.g., CA, CPA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior accounting or similar role, ideally within professional services or consulting environments.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and meeting deadlines.
