Role & responsibilities

1. Manage daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

2. Prepare and maintain financial statements, ledgers, and accounting records.

3. Monitor workshop income from vehicle servicing, repairs, and spare parts sales.

4. Manage accounts payable and receivable, including vendor and customer payments.

5. Reconcile bank statements, cash balances, and credit card transactions.

6. Monitor spare parts inventory costs and coordinate with the stores department.

7. Prepare monthly budgets, financial reports, and expense analysis.

8. Ensure timely GST, TDS, and other statutory tax compliance.

9. Supervise junior accountants and ensure accuracy in financial operations.

10. Coordinate with management, service advisors, and other departments to improve financial performance and control costs.





Preferred candidate profile

- B.Com / M Com / MBA in Finance or equivalent qualification.

- Experience: 4-8 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the automobile industry, car workshop, or service centre.

- Technical Skills: Positive knowledge of Tally Prime, MS Excel, GST, TDS, and accounting software.

- Accounting Knowledge: Hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, general ledger, and financial reporting.

- Industry Knowledge: Experience in workshop billing, service invoices, spare parts inventory accounting, and vendor management is preferred.
