Role & responsibilities

- Monitor and interpret RBI guidelines, circulars, and regulatory requirements from an Information Security and Cybersecurity perspective.

- Analyze regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable controls, guidelines, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.

- Coordinate with business, technology, security, risk, compliance, and audit teams to gather information, track compliance status, and address regulatory requirements.

- Drive remediation activities for audit observations, regulatory findings, and compliance gaps, ensuring timely closure.

- Prepare executive-level presentations, management reports, dashboards, and compliance documentation for leadership reviews.

- Review and decode RBI circulars and regulatory communications, converting them into organization-specific compliance requirements and implementation plans.

- Identify regulatory gaps, compliance risks, and improvement opportunities, and work with stakeholders to define remediation actions.





- Track regulatory changes and assess their impact on the organization's security and compliance posture.

- Ensure proper governance, reporting, and evidence management to demonstrate compliance with regulatory expectations.

- Required Skills & Experience:

- Solid knowledge of RBI regulations, banking regulations, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

- Information Security, Cybersecurity Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC).

- Experience in handling audit findings, regulatory observations, and remediation tracking.

- Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.

- Strong presentation, reporting, and documentation capabilities.

- Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and communicate them effectively to technical and business stakeholders.

- Experience working with banking, financial services, or regulated environments is preferred.
