Role:

The Section Manager – Power Systems & Grid Integration will lead Cyient's Power Systems Studies and Grid Compliance team within the Electrical Centre of Excellence. The role is responsible for technical leadership, project delivery, capability development, team growth, and business expansion across power system studies, dynamic simulations, grid code compliance, renewable energy integration, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and power plant electrification projects.

The successful candidate will build and lead a high-performing team supporting customers globally while driving technical excellence, digital transformation, engineering quality, and the development of recent service offerings in the rapidly evolving power systems market.

The Electrical Section Manager will lead a team of skilled engineers responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for building and process electrification projects. This role involves overseeing medium-voltage (MV) and low-voltage (LV) equipment sizing , including switchgears, transformers, and related components, as well as managing advanced power system static and dynamic studies. In addition to technical leadership, the manager will spearhead the digital transformation of the electrical department, introducing modern design tools, automation, and data-driven workflows to enhance efficiency and innovation.
