Role Description The Search Engine Optimization Executive will be responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and search rankings for client websites.

Qualifications

- Plan and execute off-page SEO strategies to improve website authority and organic rankings.
- Build high-quality backlinks through guest posting, link insertions, niche edits, and relevant outreach.
- Perform social bookmarking, business listings, directory submissions, profile creation, and other relevant link-building activities.
- Identify and analyse high-authority, niche-relevant websites for backlink opportunities.
- Conduct competitor backlink analysis and identify link-building gaps.
- Manage blogger outreach and coordinate with website owners for link placements.
- Monitor backlink quality, referring domains, link status, and anchor text distribution.
- Track and maintain daily and weekly backlink reports using Google Sheets or Excel.
- Identify and report broken backlinks, lost links, spammy links, and redirect issues.
- Use SEO tools such as Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz,



Google Search Console, and other relevant platforms.
- Follow Google Search Essentials and ethical, white-hat SEO practices.
- Collaborate with the content and SEO teams to improve overall organic search performance.

Required Skills

- 1–2 years of hands-on experience in SEO, preferably in off-page SEO and link building.
- Strong understanding of backlink strategies, domain authority metrics, referring domains, and anchor text optimisation.
- Experience with guest posting, blogger outreach, and link-building campaigns.
- Knowledge of competitor backlink analysis and backlink auditing.
- Familiarity with Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz, or similar SEO tools.
- Good knowledge of Google Search Console and basic SEO reporting.
- Robust research, communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage daily targets, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate reports.
- Understanding of white-hat SEO practices and Google's link spam policies.
