Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (EPPDS) Lead with 7+ years of relevant experience to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of advanced production planning and scheduling solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in finite capacity planning, detailed scheduling, production sequencing, constraint-based planning, and manufacturing process optimization. The role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop efficient production planning strategies, optimize resource utilization, and improve manufacturing and supply chain performance.

This is a 100% client-facing onsite role based at the client's location in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. The selected candidate must be available to work from the client site five days a week.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

- Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS solutions.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective production planning and detailed scheduling solutions.
- Design and implement production planning strategies, finite capacity scheduling, sequencing, and constraint-based planning.
- Optimize production schedules to improve resource utilization, minimize bottlenecks, and meet manufacturing deadlines.
- Configure and maintain PP/DS planning parameters, scheduling heuristics, scheduling strategies, and planning procedures.
- Work with production planners and manufacturing teams to improve production efficiency and scheduling accuracy.




- Support the integration of Embedded PP/DS with SAP Production Planning (PP), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and relevant manufacturing and execution processes.
- Analyze production constraints, resource availability, material shortages, and capacity limitations to develop effective scheduling solutions.
- Define and validate master data requirements, including resources, products, production versions, and PDS (Production Data Structures), as applicable.
- Prepare solution design documents, process flows, functional specifications, and configuration documentation.
- Develop test scenarios and test scripts, coordinate functional and integration testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) through sign-off.
- Support master data migration, data validation, cutover planning, and go-live activities.
- Provide end-user training, prepare knowledge transfer documentation, and support post-go-live stabilization.
- Troubleshoot production planning and scheduling issues, document resolutions, and provide regular updates to client stakeholders.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure timely completion with high-quality standards.

Required Technical Skills
- Minimum 7 years of relevant SAP experience, with strong hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Embedded PP/DS.
- Strong understanding of production planning, detailed scheduling, and manufacturing operations.
- Hands-on experience in finite capacity scheduling, production sequencing, and constraint-based planning.
- Knowledge of PP/DS configuration,



planning procedures, scheduling strategies, and heuristics.
- Experience with capacity planning, resource utilization, bottleneck analysis, and production optimization.
- Understanding of SAP PP/DS integration with SAP PP, MRP, and manufacturing execution processes.
- Knowledge of production master data, including resources, product master data, PDS, and production versions.
- Experience in preparing:
- PP/DS Solution Design Documents

- Capacity Planning and Sequencing Strategies

- Minimum 15 years of full time formal education.

Important: This position requires full-time onsite presence at the client location in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. Remote and hybrid working arrangements are not available for this role.
