– Team Lead (Traffic Operations) Roles &

Responsibilities

- - Lead and supervise the Traffic Executive team for efficient vehicle placement and daily operations.
- Liaise and negotiate with transporters and suppliers to ensure timely truck placement at competitive rates.
- Oversee demand-supply matchmaking and ensure optimal vehicle utilization.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients and key partners.
- Guide the team on client coordination, including cold calling and business development support.
- Monitor billing processes and ensure accuracy in bill preparation and documentation.
- Track and monitor vehicle movement to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure timely POD (Proof of Delivery) collection and follow-ups.
- Handle escalations effectively and support the team in resolving operational issues.
- Monitor outstanding payments and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Review team performance,



provide training, and drive productivity improvements.
- Maintain reports on operations, team performance, and key metrics.

Requirements

- Experience required: 3 – 8 years in traffic/logistics operations.
- Prior experience in team handling or leadership role preferred.
- Solid negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Good understanding of vehicle placement and transport operations.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and operational tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.

Languages: Hindi, English, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu (preferred) Key Skills:
