Nuevosol Manufacturing Private Limited is looking for a proactive and qualified Safety Officer to ensure a safe and compliant work environment across manufacturing and CNC operations. The candidate will be responsible for hazard identification, risk assessment, safety compliance, employee training, incident prevention, and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

Workplace Safety & Risk Assessment

- Conduct workplace safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Identify potential hazards in manufacturing and CNC operations.
- Implement corrective and preventive safety measures.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices by employees and contractors.

Safety Compliance & Documentation

- Maintain safety records, reports, and incident registers.
- Ensure compliance with industrial safety regulations.
- Support statutory inspections and internal safety audits.
- Update and communicate safety procedures and work instructions.

Manufacturing & CNC Safety

- Monitor safety around CNC machines, tools, and equipment.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and machine safety guards.
- Monitor housekeeping, electrical safety, and material handling.
- Promote safe practices during maintenance and machine setup activities.

Training & Awareness

- Conduct safety induction programs for employees and contractors.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions.
- Train employees on PPE usage, fire safety, emergency response, and hazard reporting.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.





Incident Investigation & Prevention

- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain incident records and track action closure.
- Assist in emergency response and mock drills.

Emergency Preparedness

- Ensure availability of fire extinguishers, first-aid facilities, and emergency exits.
- Coordinate evacuation drills and fire safety activities.
- Support implementation of emergency response procedures.

Coordination & Reporting

- Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HR, and other departments.
- Report significant safety concerns to management.
- Follow up on corrective actions and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

- Diploma in Industrial Safety.
- 6-8 years of experience in industrial safety.
- Experience in manufacturing environments preferred.
- Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and accident prevention.
- Valuable communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience in CNC machining/manufacturing operations.
- Knowledge of EHS practices and factory safety requirements.
- Ability to conduct safety training programs.
- Strong problem-solving and safety compliance skills.
