Role Description The Robotics Machine Maintenance Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves performing routine and corrective maintenance on robotic systems, CNC machines, and associated production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The engineer will plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and carry out repairs in coordination with production and engineering teams.

Daily tasks include monitoring equipment health, calibrating and testing robots, maintaining documentation and maintenance logs, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and safety. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement maintenance best practices, adhere to quality and environmental standards, and support the integration of current automation technologies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for robotics and CNC machinery.




- Candidates should possess solid Maintenance Engineering and Preventive Maintenance skills for production and automation equipment.
- Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills, including troubleshooting drives, sensors, control panels, and industrial wiring.
- Relevant experience with industrial robots, CNC machines, and automated material handling systems in a manufacturing environment.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related engineering discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and electrical/mechanical schematics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and best practices in heavy industrial and foundry operations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with the ability to work in shifts and respond to breakdowns promptly.
