**Job Title

Resident Medical Officer- Medical Support

**Reporting Supervisor

Deputy Medical Superintendent- Medical Administration

**II. JOB PURPOSE To ensure smooth services in the hospital and take care of In patients under the guidance of Consultants

**III. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

**Core Responsibilities

- To Provide Quality clinical Care to Patients
- To practice evidence based medicine awareness regarding patient {Investigation- (profile/reports/plan) {Treatment- (details/drug procurement)} {Drug Allergies/ patient history}

- To ensure Emergency Preparedness Response Treatment/ Procedure.
- To ensure timely attention and intervention for any query or requirement from the IP patient.
- To ensure that the IP rounds are duly done and the patients are attended to empathetically.

- To comply with patient protocols (OP-IP/OT/ IVF) document patient File/ Prescriptions/requisitions (legible/ complete)
- To ensure MLC notification / documentation and statutory compliance.

- To ensure Documentation at the time of Admission Discharge
- To complete all OP IP records on time with accuracy.
- To ensure proper Bio Medical Waste Management follow Infection Control protocols

- To follow ethical Medical practice and to ensure clear and prompt communication with the Admitting as well as Referral Consultants.
- To be well groomed, punctual adhere to company policies and practices.

- To have complete orientation of IMS and NABH system.




- To have complete Awareness about Disaster Management Programme (DMP) of the hospital.
- To comply with patient safety policy.

- Patient feedback (TCEQ)

- Daycare incharge feedback

- Surgeon/IVF clinician feedback

- Reporting manager feedback

- Documentation compliance **V. JOB REQUIREMENTS

**Minimum Qualifications

MBBS

**Experience

1 to 2 years in Emergency / Ward of a hospital with adequate volume of workload

**Behavioural Skills

- Good communication with patients/attendants regarding any queries raised by them
- Communication with the admitting consultant/Daycare in charge regarding admitted patient-medical condition, documentation etc
- The role requires shift duties including IPD emergency duties on call as per monthly planned roaster **Technical Skills
- Valuable clinical knowledge
- Fluent with relevant equipment handling

- Emergency medicine capabilities

- Computer literate **Language Skills
