We are looking for experienced professionals to join the Risk Engineering team of upcoming General Insurance organization in Mumbai.

2. Risk Engineer – Energy

1. Cyber Risk Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct cyber risk assessments for corporate clients, evaluating cyber exposures, vulnerabilities and risk mitigation controls.
- Prepare risk assessment reports and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen security and digital resilience.
- Conduct client risk discussions and on-site assessments for complex cyber risks.
- Support underwriting teams and contribute to cyber risk assessment tools, methodologies and product development.
- Assess emerging risks related to AI governance, cloud security, industrial network security and operational resilience.

Ideal Candidate: Professionals with a strong background in Information Security, Cyber Risk Assessment, Security Architecture, Network Engineering, Cloud Security or Risk Consulting. Knowledge of AI-related risks, ICS/SCADA and certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CRISC or CISM would be an advantage. Experience:



Ideally 10+ years in Information Security / Cyber Risk.

2. Risk Engineer – Energy

Key Responsibilities:

- Support global underwriting teams in evaluating risks and making informed decisions on risk selection and retention.
- Assess construction and operational risks associated with renewable energy projects, including onshore wind farms, solar PV plants and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
- Conduct desktop risk assessments for new and existing business, evaluating individual accounts, large projects and portfolios.
- Identify key risk exposures, analyse project and location data, and highlight emerging risk patterns and trends.
- Prepare analytical reports and dashboards to support underwriting decisions.

Ideal Candidate: Professionals with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and knowledge of engineering risk assessment, industry regulations and best practices. Experience in power generation or renewable energy projects will be an advantage. Robust analytical, communication and English language skills are essential. Experience: Ideally 6+ years in Energy Risk.
