Title: Quantity Surveyor (QS)

Job Summary The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for quantity estimation, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, material reconciliation, cost control, billing, and measurement verification to ensure accurate project costing and effective utilization of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Quantity Estimation & BOQ
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs from approved architectural and structural drawings.
- Prepare and verify BOQs for RCC, PCC, reinforcement steel, brickwork, plastering, flooring, painting, and other civil works.
- Calculate quantities for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, roads, boundary walls, and other structures.
- Identify quantity variations and discrepancies in drawings.
- Billing & Measurement
- Prepare client RA bills and subcontractor bills.
- Verify measurements and quantities executed at the site.
- Maintain measurement sheets, abstract sheets, and supporting documents.
- Track certified, submitted, and pending bills.
- Material Management
- Prepare material requirement statements based on project drawings and execution plans.
- Monitor consumption of cement, TMT steel, aggregates, sand, bricks/AAC blocks, and other materials.
- Prepare material reconciliation statements and analyze wastage.
- Verify material receipts, consumption, and closing stock.
- Rate Analysis & Cost Control
- Prepare rate analysis for extra items and non-BOQ items.
- Monitor actual project costs against BOQ and budgeted quantities.




- Identify cost variations and suggest cost-saving measures.
- Maintain records of deviations and extra items.
- Drawing & Site Coordination
- Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Engineer, Planning Engineer, and Billing Engineer.
- Review architectural and structural drawings and approved revisions.
- Verify site measurements and resolve quantity discrepancies.
- Maintain updated quantity records according to the latest approved drawings.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quantity reports.
- Maintain BOQ, reconciliation, billing, and variation registers.
- Prepare building-wise quantity statements and material consumption reports.
- Ensure proper documentation for client and subcontractor payments.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in quantity surveying, estimation, billing, and material reconciliation.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel.
- Understanding of civil construction drawings, BOQ, and rate analysis.
- Valuable analytical, calculation, documentation, and coordination skills.

Preferred Experience Experience in institutional buildings, residential/commercial buildings, infrastructure projects, or government construction projects.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Accuracy of quantity estimation and BOQ.
- Timely submission of client and subcontractor bills.
- Accuracy of material reconciliation and wastage monitoring.
- Effective cost control and timely reporting.
- Proper documentation and measurement verification.

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹53,000.00 per month
