About the Role

Harvee Technologies is seeking skilled Quality Assurance (QA) Automation Engineers to partner directly with our enterprise clients. This is not a back-office, ticket-driven position. You will take end-to-end ownership of product quality for client accounts: designing robust automation frameworks, using intelligent tools to identify and resolve issues efficiently, and communicating your findings clearly to English-speaking stakeholders.

As a client-embedded engineer, you will work closely with client engineering teams as a trusted member of their organization. You will be the person they rely on to identify what is broken, explain why, and recommend how to fix it.

Key Responsibilities

Test Automation

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for web, API, and mobile applications.
- Integrate automated test suites into client CI/CD pipelines to ensure every build is validated before release.
- Define and own the test strategy for each client account, determining what to automate, what to test manually, and what residual risks remain.
- Investigate test failures to their root cause, distinguishing genuine product defects from flaky tests and setting-related issues.

Intelligent Problem Solving

- Use intelligent tools, including coding assistants, coding agents, and automated test generation, as part of your daily workflow to write tests, analyse logs, and accelerate debugging.
- Build smart workflows that reduce manual effort, such as generating test cases from requirements or automatically triaging test failures.
- Test intelligent product features by evaluating generated outputs for accuracy, consistency, and safety, and by designing comprehensive evaluation datasets.
- Critically review and validate all tool-generated output before it reaches the client.

Client Engagement

- Work as an embedded member of enterprise client teams, participating in their stand-ups and working within their tools and codebases.




- Translate ambiguous client requirements into clear, actionable technical plans and deliver against them.
- Serve as the quality lead on the account by reporting status, flagging risks early, and recommending corrective actions.
- Bring insights gained from client engagements back into Harvee's internal tools and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Experience: 2+ years in test automation or software engineering. Client-facing or consulting experience is an advantage.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript, with the ability to write automation code to production-quality standards.
- Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress for UI testing, and REST Assured, Postman, or similar tools for API testing. Experience with Appium for mobile testing is a plus.
- CI/CD and Cloud: Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI; proficiency with Docker; and working knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- AI Tool Proficiency: Regular, practical use of modern coding and testing assistants, with the ability to write effective prompts and validate generated output.
- Problem Solving: A proven track record of resolving ambiguous, high-pressure problems independently.
- English Communication: Fluent spoken and written English, with the confidence to lead calls with clients in the US, UK, or Australia.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Communication and Client-Facing Expectations In this role,



communication skills carry as much weight as technical expertise. You will often be the sole representative of Harvee Technologies that the client interacts with. You will be expected to:

- Lead client calls with confidence, including running demos, presenting test results, and responding to questions in real time.
- Explain complex technical issues in clear, plain English to non-technical stakeholders such as product owners and managers.
- Produce clear, self-explanatory status reports, defect reports, and test plans that require no further clarification.
- Push back professionally when timelines or quality are at risk, while proposing practical alternatives.
- Earn the trust of senior client engineers by working at their level and consistently delivering on your commitments.
- Maintain meaningful working-hour overlap with client time zones (US, UK, or Australia) as required by the account.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience testing products with AI-driven or generated-content features, including prompt evaluation and output quality scoring.
- Experience building internal tools or agents using LLM APIs to automate parts of the QA process.
- Performance and load testing experience with JMeter, k6, or Gatling.
- Exposure to security or accessibility testing.
- Prior on-site or embedded experience with Fortune 500 or large enterprise clients.
- ISTQB or an equivalent certification.
