Quality & Testing Engineer – Transformer Manufacturing

We are looking for Quality & Testing Engineers to oversee transformer manufacturing quality, electrical testing, customer inspections and quality documentation at our Murbad plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor stage-wise quality during core assembly, winding, insulation, fabrication and final assembly of oil-cooled and dry-type transformers.
- Ensure manufacturing compliance with approved drawings, customer specifications, QAP and ITP.
- Learn and perform routine transformer testing as per IS 2026 and IEC 60076.
- Prepare for and coordinate customer and third-party inspections, including testing demonstrations.
- Address customer inspection observations and ensure timely closure of compliance points.
- Maintain inspection reports, test certificates, checklists and quality records as per company systems.




- Assist in NCR, RCA, CAPA, ISO documentation and continuous process improvement.
- Coordinate with production, design and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

Candidate Requirements
- Good understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Basic knowledge of quality control and electrical testing preferred.
- Valuable documentation, communication and coordination skills.
- Willingness to learn and independently handle customer inspections and transformer testing.

Benefits: Company transportation available from Kalyan and Badlapur. Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹26,000.00 per month
